Deep sea coral

Deep sea coral. Corals were diverse on Mytilus Seamount, but composition and abundance of corals differed between the north and south side of the seamount. This is a colony of Jasonisis, a bamboo coral. Numerous red brittle stars are seen as well as a variety of sponges.
