The bullsnake is a large non-venomous colubrid snake endemic to southwestern Canada. They are usually yellow in color, with brown, white, black or sometimes reddish colored blotching. Bullsnakes are not fast movers and often have to take other defensive actions. Bullsnakes eat small mammals, such as mice, rats, pocket gophers, ground squirrels and rabbits.
