Yugfa, Adak Pirate ship with rats

September 1999. This ship is similar to the vessels that went aground on Afognak Island. The Yugfa was caught by USCG for pirate fishing and was heavily rat infested. The USFWS has sent response crews to at least four ship- groundings to stop rat invasions if necessary. None of the four had rats.
