Patuxent Wildlife Research Center alone with biologist from the Washington office Fisheries program as well as those from the Bureau of Land Management and NOAA joined the staff, partners, and volunteers to host a Kids, Fishing Event at Cash Lake. The event provided fishing guides and fishing opportunities for urban youth as for many , this was their first time ever fishing, Although rain fell most of the day, enthusiasm was high and many young anglers young and old caught fishes including bluegills and crappies.
