West Fork Blackbird Creek, a tailing facility

West Fork Blackbird Creek, a tailing facility. The structure to the right is a spillway. Several million cubic yards contaminated tailings are behind the dam. Water is diverted into a concrete channel so it does not come into contact with the tailings.
