View of the high tundra from Skookum Pass

View of the high tundra from Skookum Pass. Solifluction lobes formed by a process of thawing moisture-laden topsoil lying over permafrost sliding slowly down hill. This creeping sheet of soil creates scalloped lobes of taller vegetation along the moist leading edge.
