The habitat and marine chemistry section of Auke Bay Laboratories, Alaska Science Center (NOAA) is collaborating with Norwegian researchers in the study of polar cod. The experiment is in Ny ̢̮â¬Å¡ÃâÃÂlesund, Svalbard Islands, the fourth northernmost permanently inhabited location in the world.
