The aftermath of Katrina

The aftermath of Katrina. A surplus boat lift is loaded on a truck at Valdez, Alaska for transportation to Plaquemines Parish. This piece of equipment was critical to the recovery of the Plaquemines Parish fishing industry. The donation of this piece of equipment and transportation via truck to Louisiana was arranged by NOAA Sea Grant personnel.
