Tabby ruins at Chocolate on the northwest side of the island

Tabby ruins at Chocolate on the northwest side of the island. Tabby refers to the building material which is a durable cement-like mixture of equal parts of water, sand, shell, and lime. These ruins are part of an antebellum plantation that was deserted following the Civil War.
