Subsistence Gillnetting at Togiak Bay

Providing for subsistence activities is one of the primary purposes of Togiak NWR and a traditional subsistence lifestyle continues to be essential for many residents of the area. Salmon, often caught with gillnets, are a staple food. Taken summer 2001.
