Mountains in the Sea Expedition 2004

Mountains in the Sea Expedition 2004. A microscopic image of a large (approximately 4-inch long) Eunice norvegica worm found living within the mucus tubes woven through Lophelia coral. The iridescence is from light refraction on the cuticle secreted by the worm.
