Lamar National Fish Hatchery

Biologists at Lamar National Fish Hatchery in Pennsylvania work in the laboratory. National Fish Hatcheries either produce eggs for broodstock or rear young fish for stocking into the nation’s waters. In 1996, the National Fish Hatchery system distributed over 140 million eggs to state and tribal hatcheries.
