Interagency Visitor Center, Coldfoot, Alaska

The Arctic Interagency Visitor Center is located in Coldfoot, about halfway between Fairbanks and Prudhoe Bay, on the Dalton Highway. It is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day to provide information on everything from wildlife sightings to road conditions and offer visitors numerous resources to help plan their backcountry trips and other recreational activities in the surrounding public lands: Kanuti, Yukon Flats and Arctic National Wildlife Refuges, Gates of the Arctic National Park & Preserve and the Dalton Highway utility corridor
