In: “The Meteor Expedition,” by F. Spiess, German Atlantic Expedition 1925-1927. Alfred Merz, Director of the Meereskunde in Berlin and planner and organizer of the METEOR Expedition. Unfortunately he died in Buenos Aires in 1925 at the beginning of the expedition. Library Call Number Q115.D45 1928.
