KADENA AIR BASE, Japan—Air Force HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters are “folded” and waiting to catch a flight from here to Sri Lanka to help with tsunami relief efforts. Two helicopters were flown aboard a C-17 Globemaster III on Jan. 3; four more are scheduled to go. Besides aircraft and equipment, Airmen here have loaded more than 145 tons of relief supplies on Air Force aircraft bound for the region. The Pave Hawks are assigned to the 33rd Rescue Squadron here, and the C-17 is from McChord Air Force Base, Wash. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Heather Tower)
