HH-60G Pave Hawk - To the rescue

NAVAL AIR STATION KEFLAVIK, Iceland-—A HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter from the 56th Rescue Squadron provides heavy lift/sling load support to the fishing trawler, the Baldvin Thorsteinsson. The 56th Rescue Squadron, along with members of the 85th Maintenance Squadron, recently played a key role in the recovery efforts of the fishing trawler, which had been stranded on a sand bar off Iceland’s southern coast for three days.
