Global Hawk is a long-endurance, high-altitude unmanned aerial vehicle intended for multiple battlefield applications. Capable of surveying an area the size of the state of Illinois, or 40,000 square miles, in just 24 hours, Global Hawk can range as far as 13,500 nautical miles at altitudes approaching 65,000 feet.
