Gastrotychus crab perched among the branches of a black coral (Leiopathes sp.), at 400 meters on the West Florida Escarpment. A differenct crab species is seen at right. Particular species of crab are often found to only live on specific coral species. This coral was serving as habitat for two. Coral-hosted crabs typically feed among the branches of the coral.
