FWS Employee Bands Neotropical Migratory Bird

A U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service biologist bands a neotropical migratory bird at Tensas River National Wildlife Refuge in Louisiana. Some species of neotropical migrants, so named because they nest in North America and winter in the tropical regions of Central America and South America, are in decline because of habitat loss and degradation.
