F-16 Fighting Falcon - Commando Sling

PAYA LEBAR AIR BASE, Singapore—Staff Sgt. Keith White prepares to launch his F-16 Fighting Falcon for a mission Paya Lebar Air Base, Singapore, during Exercise Commando Sling. The annual exercise began in 1990 to provide combined air combat training for U.S. Air Force and Singapore Air Force fighter units. The exercise enables units to sharpen air combat skills, improve procedures for sustained operations at a non-U.S. base, and promote closer relations between the two air forces and nations.
