OVER THE PACIFIC OCEAN—A C-5 Galaxy maintains contact behind an aerial refueling tanker here. The C-5 provides the Air Mobility Command officials intertheater airlift supporting U.S. national defense. Four turbofan engines power the aircraft, rated at 43,000 pounds thrust each.
