C-17 Globemaster III - Preflight Checks

OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM—A co-pilot and aircraft commander finish preflight procedures for their KC-135 tanker plane. The KC-135 refueled two C-17 Globemaster III planes and several escort aircraft supporting a humanitarian relief mission associated with Operation Enduring Freedom. The C-17s airdropped 27,000 humanitarian daily rations for refugees in eastern Afghanistan. (U.S. Air Force photo)
