KORAT ROYAL AIR FORCE BASE, Thailand (AFPN)—First Lt. Jeff Bliss reads information about a Cope Tiger ‘06 airlift mission inside the cockpit of a C-130 Hercules here Feb. 7. Lieutenant Bliss is one of 300 U.S. military members and 1,000 military members from Thailand and Singapore who are participating in the exercise, headquartered 110 miles northeast of Bangkok. Officials say Cope Tiger provides air-to-air, air-to-ground and large force employment training for crews in a multi-national environment while expanding the capabilities and readiness of U.S. and allied forces.
