Bubbles of methane gas rise through a mussel bed at the Pascagoula Dome. This was the first time that the Little Hercules ROV had groundtruthed a methane seep that had been imaged by surface multibeam sonar. Besides bathymodiolus mussels, beautiful white and shiny snails are seen and four white chitons.
