A North Pacific extratropical cyclone as seen from TIROS VIII, pass 764/762, camera I, frame 13. The easternmost cloud band suggests frontal clouds, the center band with transverse elements appears to be associated with the jet stream, while the westernmost thin band is highly unusual.
