A-10 Thunderbolt II - 'Thunder' in the sky

EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska—Two A-10 Thunderbolt IIs from the 355th Fighter Squadron prepare to take off from the flightline here March 6. The 355th FS’s mission is to rapidly deploy Thunderbolts and support people to any location at a moment’s notice.
